Wage: $25.00 - $35.00 / Hourly - based on experience
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose construction equipment, including Liebherr, Roadtec, Gomaco, Manitowoc, and Grove machines.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and general machine upkeep.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as laptops, gauges, and instruments to detect equipment faults.
- Disassemble and reassemble components to OEM specifications.
- Operate machines to assess repair needs and evaluate repair effectiveness.
- Perform basic welding and cutting when necessary.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders.
- Accurately complete service reports, timecards, and checklists.
- Communicate job status with customers and service office staff.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical or vocational training preferred.
- 3–5 years of heavy equipment repair experience required.
- Class B CDL or willing to obtain is a PLUS
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex systems.
- Proficiency in laptop-based diagnostics and Microsoft Office.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and service manuals.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and customer-focused attitude.
- Basic welding skills and tool usage knowledge.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, and use hands to handle tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
