Warehouse Associate (Contract-to-Hire) Location: Orlando, FL Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire through American Made Solutions (AMS)

About the Opportunity American Made Solutions is partnering with a leading plastics distributor to hire a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate for their Orlando facility. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company with long-term potential starting with AMS and transitioning to permanent employment for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull and stage customer orders using extended-fork forklifts and standard warehouse equipment.
  • Interface directly with customers in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Learn and operate the panel saw for custom cutting jobs (training provided).
  • Utilize the E1 operating system to receive purchase orders and manage order flow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area including daily sweeping of the warehouse.
  • Assist with general shipping, receiving, and material handling duties as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Previous warehouse experience with forklift operation (extended forks a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
  • Dependable, punctual, and safety-minded.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
