Job description

The Accounting Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting department by handling a variety of financial and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, log, process, and file expenses, travel authorizations, and itineraries, ensuring timely payment to employees and repayment of unused travel advances.
  • Prepare travel advance vouchers for employees receiving advances.
  • Input and file all financial vouchers, including accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), payroll, and related documents.
  • File, match, price, and input all stores packing slips into the pricing program, including those from GFM GmbH.
  • Meet regularly with Accounts Payable team members to ensure timely processing of packing slips and invoices and to address any missing paperwork.
  • Assist in other areas of accounting as needed, such as filing, check preparation for manual review, relieving the receptionist, creating new fiscal year binders, and performing other clerical duties to support the accounting department.
Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role is a plus.
