$18.00/hour. Home by 1pm. Every weekday.

A lot of warehouse work in the Treasure Valley starts near $16-17/hour and rotates your shift on you. This one pays $18.00 flat, starts at 5am, and ends at 1pm - Monday through Friday, every week. No rotations, no weekends, no on-call. You'll know exactly when you work, and you'll have your afternoons back.

We're Amembiana, a candy and snack retailer in Boise. We sell online through Amazon, Walmart, and our own store - everything from nostalgic classics to treats most people have never heard of. There are five of us. You'd be the sixth - which means what you do here is visible and it matters.

We're in the industrial area near Overland and Cole. Free parking on site. You'll need reliable transportation - the bus isn't running at 4:30am.

THE ROLE

You're the first one in. Before the packing team arrives, you set them up to succeed.

- Pull and stage inventory so orders are ready to pack when the team walks in

- Receive, sort, and put away incoming inventory

- Keep the floor organized so nobody's hunting for product mid-shift

- Restock and support the packing team through the rest of the shift

- Operate an electric pallet jack

- Bag bulk candy into 1 lb and 2 lb retail bags

You're not managing anyone. You're the person who makes sure the floor is ready - when you've done your job, the packing team walks in and everything they need is where it should be.You get the floor to yourself for the first hour before the packing team arrives - quiet, no interruptions, just you and the prep list. You won't be micromanaged, and the owner is reachable by phone from 5am if something goes sideways.

You'll train directly with the owner for your first couple of weeks - as long as you need, up to two - learning the floor, the SKUs, and the equipment. After that, the mornings are yours.

THE WORK ITSELF

Most of what you'll handle is light - inventory in the 10-15 lb range. Occasionally there's a pallet or a heavier case, up to about 50 lbs. It's an active job: standing, walking, bending, and reaching for most of an8-hour shift, with scheduled breaks. The electric pallet jack does the heavy moving.

Once orders are staged and the floor is set, you'll spend an hour or two on most days bagging bulk candy into 1 and 2 lb retail bags. It's repetitive, and we'd rather tell you that up front than have you find out in week two. It's also the reason we can promise you a full 40 hours instead of sending you home early when order volume is light.

WHAT WE NEED

- Comfortable operating an electric pallet jack, or willing to learn - we'll train you

- Able to read and follow written pick lists, SKU labels, and packing slips in English

- A reliable 5:00am start. The packing team's whole day is built on the morning prep being done, so consistent on-time starts are the core of this role.

Nice to have: forklift certification, Spanish fluency, prior warehouse or fulfillment experience.

Not required: years of experience. If you're dependable and pay attention, we'll teach you the rest.

BEING STRAIGHT WITH YOU

We're a five-person company, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. We don't offer health insurance or a 401(k). If you need those, a larger employer is the better move, and we'd rather you know that now than in an interview.

- $18.00/hour, paid biweekly - at or above what most warehouse work in the valley starts at

- 40 hours of paid time off, accrued over your first year

- A guaranteed 40 hours a week, every week. Not "up to 40," not sent home early when volume dips. Any overtime is paid at time and a half.

One honest note on the schedule: we're a candy company, so October through December is our busy season. We sometimes ask for extra hours or an occasional Saturday in that stretch. It's paid overtime, we give as much notice as we can, and it's a handful of days - not a season of them.
