Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized therapy sessions, encompassing individual, couples, and family modalities, tailored to the unique needs of our clients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and relational concerns, employing evidence-based practices to formulate personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize your expertise in family systems theories and therapeutic techniques to address and resolve complex relationship dynamics and communication barriers.
  • Provide emergency intervention services during crisis situations, ensuring the safety and support of clients and their families.
  • Document client interactions accurately, maintaining progress notes and treatment plans that comply with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Educate clients and their families on effective communication techniques and relationship-building skills that promote enduring emotional health.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including therapists and medical staff, to ensure a holistic approach to client well-being.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in training and education to stay abreast of advancements in the field of marriage and family therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A current and valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
  • A master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of direct experience in a clinical setting as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A demonstrated commitment to maintaining ethical and confidential counseling practices.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules to meet client needs effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in outpatient therapy contexts is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and trauma-informed care practices.
  • Experience in working with diverse client populations and understanding of cultural competency.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary in the range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
