Job description

Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Closing Department Specialist at Amanda Demanda Law Group. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our firm's operations, focusing on reducing medical bills and managing financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming calls and follow-ups with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical provides during settlement process.
  • Communicate with Insurance Adjusters to obtain payment.
  • Obtain reductions from medical providers, hospitals, and/or any other party owed monies as a result of the client's case, as applicable.
  • Resolve lien interest and providers' medical bills.
  • Work with medical providers to deliver the maximum value to our clients.
  • Organize and prepare Closing Documents for Attorney and clients to review and sign supporting documentation.
  • Verify and organize medical bills and execute appropriate follow-up procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in medical bill negotiation and reduction within the personal injury legal industry.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Spanish is required.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to personal injury billing is a plus.
