Job description
Alteño Charleston, the first out of state concept from Denver based Fonda Fina Hospitality and Michelin-starred Chef Johnny Curiel, is looking for a CDC to work under Chef Johnny Curiel, Alteño Concept Chef, Eric Honas, and our culinary team.
Alteño is set to open in Fall 2026. We have a fun high-energy atmosphere and pride ourselves on our attention to detail in every component of our dishes paired with impeccable service and exceptional hospitality.
Michelin recommended Alteño Denver opened in March of 2025, and is now expanding to Charleston. Alteño taps into Chef Johnny's roots in the Jalisco Highlands of Mexico. Inspired by the rustic dishes of his upbringing and the regional flavors of Los Altos, Alteño offers a fresh, thoughtful take on traditional Mexican cooking think bold flavors and a clear respect for regional ingredients.
Having a great attitude, willingness to learn, adaptability, and being a team player are vital in order to be successful in this role.
