Job description

The Skilled Laborer will play an essential role in supporting residential and commercial construction projects. Working within small teams, the individual will perform various hands-on tasks under periodic supervision to ensure smooth site operations and project completion. Frequent travel to different job sites is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Operate construction equipment efficiently and safely
  • Handle materials and supplies on-site with care
  • Prepare construction sites for upcoming activities
  • Support construction tasks by following instructions and plans
  • Utilize hand and power tools properly for various jobs
  • Perform manual labor tasks to assist project progress
  • Maintain quality control to meet project standards

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in skilled labor roles
  • OSHA Safety Certification
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficient with hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of worksite safety protocols
  • Physical stamina for demanding labor
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Teamwork and effective communication skills
