Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of new patients to assess their physical abilities, mobility, and specific therapeutic needs, while developing comprehensive, personalized treatment plans.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the application of modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation.
• Monitor patient progress consistently, adjusting therapy protocols as required based on individual response, conditions, and evolving healthcare standards.
• Educate patients on their diagnosis, therapeutic procedures, and the importance of adherence to home exercise programs to continue their recovery effectively outside the clinic.
• Maintain accurate records of each patient's treatment sessions, documenting progress notes and revising treatment plans as necessary in compliance with clinic standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, participating in case discussions and advocating for patients' needs.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with patients that foster motivation, encourage consistency in therapy attendance, and enhance overall therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Allied Physical Therapy, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain syndromes. You will provide tailored therapy that addresses the unique challenges faced by each patient, ensuring they receive the highest level of support throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to rehabilitation practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is required; experience in pediatrics or acute care settings is preferred.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based practice and contemporary therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
