Schedule: 1st Shift - 1st Shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm - Monday - Friday
Pay rate: $16.00 per hour
Purpose of Position Safely handle, move, locate, relocate, stack, package, repackage, and count product.

Position Competency
  1. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
  2. Must be able to twist, stoop, squat and reach above shoulder level.
  3. Must be able to push, pull, remove and place product in various configurations, involving use of fingers, hands, arms, etc...
  4. Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
Position Expectations
Productivity:
  • Meet established productivity standards specific to the production job being worked on.
  • Understand the custom packaging process of the operations building you are assigned.
  • Understand hourly production progress via goal board display or established metrics.
  • Be able to take work direction from assigned line lead.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.

Safety:
  • Follow established Safety and Security SOPs, policies, and guidelines, such as, but not limited to: Custom Packaging Operations Dress Code and Personal Hygiene or Operations Dress Code and Custom Packaging General Rules and Notices, Lifting Properly, Knife Safety, Safety Glass policy, etc...
  • Report all equipment malfunctions to management and/or line lead immediately.
  • Report all incidents, accidents, or unsafe acts to management or line lead immediately.
  • Must have experience and be knowledgeable about Food Safety or willing to receive training in Food Safety.

Quality:
  • Ensure that you are aware of error and damage guidelines for the custom packaging production line operation or project you are assigned.
  • Ensure that the product being received or shipped is sellable and meets customer expectations.
  • Ensure that the customer requirements are being followed so that a quality end product is the result. This includes, but is not limited to: gluing of pretty boxes or cartons, product placement, stacking of product, folding of cartons, product placement in package, date code checks, etc...
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and completely.
  • Report all product damage to your manager or line lead immediately.
  • Follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions for all production jobs.

Initiative:
  • Participate in daily pre-shift meetings including stretching.
  • Participate in general area housekeeping especially at production line set up and tear downs.

Food Safety & Quality:
  • Follow food/safety SOPs and AIB standards
  • Must have experience and be knowledgeable about Food Safety or willing to receive training in Food Safety.
