Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based treatment to a varied patient demographic, applying personalized therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct virtual assessments and sessions via secure video and telephone platforms, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for clients.
  • Perform intake interviews and develop treatment plans that align with each patient's mental health goals and challenges.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions to address a broad range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to family dynamics.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with Federal, State, and organizational guidelines, using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve engaging with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. By delivering culturally competent care, you will play a crucial role in promoting mental well-being across Richmond and surrounding areas, empowering clients to navigate their circumstances and achieve meaningful change.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
  • An active LCSW license issued by the State of California.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience providing therapeutic services to individuals and families.
  • Strong skills in utilizing video-conferencing software and other digital tools; prior telehealth experience greatly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate treatment plans and maintain effective client relationships.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with diverse populations, particularly in community health settings.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic methodologies and interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and tracking of client progress.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary of USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
