The Septic Pump Truck Driver is responsible for servicing residential and commercial septic systems by pumping and disposing of non-hazardous waste. This role involves operating a Class B CDL truck, performing routine inspections and maintenance, and ensuring excellent customer service on local routes. The driver will also conduct standard pumping and provide maintenance recommendations to customers while respecting their property and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate pump truck safely on local routes
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ongoing truck maintenance
• Locate, uncover, and pump standard and commercial septic tanks
• Travel to disposal facilities to properly dispose of waste
• Identify and perform minor troubleshooting on malfunctioning septic systems
• Communicate with customers regarding service times and maintenance needs
• Maintain cleanliness of truck and equipment
• Treat customer property with respect and professionalism

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL license

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years commercial driving experience
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
• Strong customer service skills
• Effective communication abilities
