Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a high-speed production and packaging operation. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.

1st Shift

Full Time / Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and repair of production and packaging equipment during operations
• Execute preventive maintenance (PMs) on machinery, equipment, and facility systems
• Set up and prepare equipment for scheduled production runs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues; repair or replace components as needed
• Work across systems including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing maintenance tasks
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (meters, etc.)
• Identify equipment issues and escalate concerns to leadership as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Support additional maintenance or facility needs as required

Qualifications

• Technical certificate or training in maintenance, industrial technology, or related field
• 2+ year of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working on high-speed production or packaging equipment preferred
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and documentation
• Solid communication and organizational skills
