Job description
"Are you passionate about creating exceptional experiences for customers in the health and fitness realm? The Alaska Club, renowned for its 14 premier health and fitness facilities across the state, is seeking an Operations Manager to champion our commitment to unparalleled customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to oversee our dedicated team and manage facilities, ensuring an exceptional experience for our valued members and guests.
- Conduct regular facility inspections, promptly address repair needs, and provide comprehensive reports.
- Lead, train, and guide staff in their daily tasks to uphold service excellence.
- Undertake various administrative duties to bolster our success in the fitness industry.
A qualified candidate should have a proven track record in effective facilities and personnel management, demonstrate a history of delivering outstanding customer service and elevating member and guest experiences.

The best way for you to succeed is to meet with one of our experienced fitness managers to assess your health baseline and help you structure a program. Benefit from instruction on proper exercise selection and technique by working with one of our personal trainers who can develop the right program for you. Our trainers are classified into three experience levels- Advanced, Expert or Master. By working with a trainer, you give yourself a greater chance of success in your quest for fat loss, muscle gain and overall health improvement.
