  A well-established, growth-oriented company in the security and life-safety industry, providing commercial installation, monitoring, and service solutions, is seeking a professional and experienced Installation and Technical Manager to lead their field installation team.
  Position Summary
  The Installation and Technical Manager oversees all aspects of installation operations, including scheduling, technical quality control, crew supervision, and customer satisfaction for commercial security, fire, cameras, and access control systems. This individual will also assist the sales team with estimates and site reviews as required, and will ensure all documentation and installations are completed within all standards. This role requires strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of low-voltage systems, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and mentor a team of installation technicians, ensuring adherence to company standards and manufacturer specifications
• Schedule and coordinate installation projects to meet customer deadlines and budget requirements
• Conduct technical quality inspections and help troubleshoot complex system issues
• Ensure compliance with local codes and NFPA/UL standards
• Manage inventory, tools, and ensure fleet vehicles assigned to the installation department are maintained per company standards
• Partner with sales and monitoring departments to ensure smooth project coordination
• Handle escalated customer concerns related to installation quality or timelines
• Maintain accurate project documentation, permits, and as-built records
• Assist teams with service/troubleshooting when needed
• Support training and performance evaluations of installation staff
• After-hours/on-call work may be required

Qualifications  

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in security/fire alarm installation, with  2+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of intrusion, fire, access control, and CCTV systems
• Valid Nevada “F” card (or ability to obtain within a specified period)
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling software
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass all background checks, drug screenings, and licensing requirements
