HVAC Technician

• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently
• Respond promptly to on-call service requests, particularly during periods of temperature fluctuation and peak seasonal demand
• Utilize personal tools and equipment to complete installation and repair tasks safely and effectively
• Travel to various job sites using personal transportation to meet customer service needs
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation for completed work orders

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with HVAC installation, repair, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to work with ductwork and related HVAC components
• Must own reliable tools necessary for HVAC installation and repair work
• Must have personal transportation to travel between job sites
• Availability for on-call scheduling, including during high-demand periods due to temperature changes
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant HVAC certification or trade school training
• Prior experience in residential or commercial refrigeration systems
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC installation

Technical Skills
