Job description

Summary

The On-Call Youth Servers is directed by Shareholder Advocates Tracy Parent/Mercedes Knighten to perform at the Annual Meeting Event on June 6, 2026. Youth Servers are to assist in the performance of any duties assigned for providing elders with drinks, meals and snacks.

The pay rate for this position is $15.00-$20.00/hour. This position is located in Glennallen, AK.

Please Note: This position is open to Shareholders only.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with moving materials and items from/to storage areas
  • Assist with sorting and placing materials or items as directed in dining and serving areas by setting up counters, stands and tables.
  • Assist in keeping job site tidy, organized and safe
  • Keep work area clean by use of wiping, sweeping, mopping, throwing away trash
  • Prepping food, serving food, silverware, and dish out portions of food
  • Serves hot and cold beverages to elders first then others
  • Serve food, snacks, lunch sacks or meals to elders first then others
  • Comply with company safety policy at all times
Supervisory Responsibilities

None

Minimum Qualifications

  • Age Requirement: 14-19
  • Ahtna Shareholder or Descendant and/or Shareholder
  • Experience and knowledge of Alaska Native cultures

Additional information

  • Attend mandatory server orientation on Friday afternoon after annual meeting
  • Must wear black pants, white dress shirt and good shoes on day of annual meeting

Physical Demands

Must be able to perform bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for up to 8 hours; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds unassisted.
