    Job description

    Position Title :: General AV Engineer – PTX Solutions & Test Plans
    Duration :: Contract
    Locations :: New York, NY
    Job Description:
    We are seeking an AV Engineer to support backend AV system design, integration, testing, monitoring, and automation for a large-scale enterprise AV environment supporting multiple event spaces.
    Responsibilities

    • Support the design and integration of backend AV and event management systems.
    • Engineer workflows for AV device control, monitoring, and automation.
    • Develop and execute hardware and software test plans.
    • Support system integration, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
    • Perform NAC profiling and support network integration requirements.
    • Evaluate new AV products and technologies for compatibility and deployment.
    • Support lab and production environment testing.

    Required Skills
    • Experience in AV systems engineering and integration.
    • Experience with AV control, monitoring, and automation platforms.
    • Strong troubleshooting and system integration skills.
    • Experience developing and executing test plans.
    • Understanding of enterprise networking and NAC environments.
    • Experience with platforms such as Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, AMX, or similar is preferred.
