Agile Connection Group is partnering with a well-established, full-service regional law firm to identify a motivated and detail-oriented Workers Compensation Legal Assistant for its Nashua, New Hampshire office. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly alongside an experienced attorney in a collaborative environment where support staff are valued and encouraged to grow professionally.
This role offers meaningful, hands-on involvement in workers compensation matters from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate confidently with clients and medical providers, and take pride in maintaining organized, accurate case files. Prior workers compensation experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with legal assistant, insurance claims, or medical claims experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage workers compensation case files from intake through resolution
- Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel
- Gather, organize, and prepare medical records and supporting documentation
- Draft routine legal correspondence and case-related documents under attorney supervision
- Maintain calendars, deadlines, and case management updates
- Coordinate with courts, agencies, and outside parties as needed
- Ensure timely and accurate updates within the firms case management system
Qualifications
Required
- 13 years of experience as a legal assistant OR experience in insurance/medical claims adjusting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Stable work history with demonstrated professionalism and reliability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to work on-site in Nashua, NH five days per week
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available)
Preferred
- Workers compensation or personal injury experience
- Experience with Filevine or similar case management software
- Medical claims background
- Paralegal certificate or coursework

- Competitive salary: $54,000 $60,000 annually, depending on experience
