Job description

About the Role:
Join as a Day Care Assistant in the vibrant community of Brooklyn, NY! This role is perfect for those who 
are passionate about nurturing and supporting children's growth in a fun and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in a daycare setting.
  • Engage children in educational and recreational activities to promote development.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents about children's progress and needs.
  • Support lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities.
  • Monitor children's behavior and provide guidance as needed.
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding when required.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in childcare preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
