Kitchen Manager Agape Mediterranean

Agape Mediterranean is looking for a dependable, motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house team and help us consistently deliver fresh, high-quality food.

Our Kitchen Managers are hands-on leaders. You'll work alongside the team while taking ownership of food quality, prep execution, cleanliness, organization, inventory, and kitchen performance. We're looking for someone who sets the standard rather than simply managing from the sidelines.

What You'll Do

• Lead, train, coach, and develop kitchen team members
• Oversee daily food preparation and kitchen operations
• Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Ensure recipes, portioning, and preparation procedures are followed
• Manage prep levels based on expected sales and business needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen
• Monitor inventory, ordering, receiving, and product rotation
• Reduce food waste and help maintain food-cost targets
• Ensure proper opening, closing, cleaning, and sanitation procedures
• Hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive work environment
• Identify problems and take ownership of finding solutions
• Work closely with restaurant leadership to improve overall store performance
• Step in and work any kitchen position when needed

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or kitchen leadership experience preferred
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation
• Reliable and consistent attendance
• Ability to lead by example and hold others accountable
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to coach and develop others
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal restaurant kitchen duties
• ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
