Work Environment

As a Physician Assistant at Agape Medical Center, you will work in an onsite hospital setting, directly interacting with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The position typically requires a schedule of Monday to Friday, comprising 40 hours per week, with a shift starting at 5:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments by interviewing, examining, and diagnosing patients to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, preventive care, and management of chronic conditions.
• Provide and manage patient referrals based on documented needs and examination findings to specialists as necessary.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to clinical care standards.
• Address patient complaints and inquiries, promoting a positive patient experience.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with federal guidelines in managing sensitive patient information.
• Accurately complete medical records and documentation in an electronic medical record (EMR) system after each patient encounter.
• Handle night calls and emergencies as required, demonstrating reliability and commitment to patient care.
• Utilize cutting-edge medical technology and evidence-based practice to create tailored treatment protocols.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests crucial for accurate patient diagnosis and informed treatment decisions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree preferred.
• Current unrestricted medical licensure and board eligibility or board certification in the state of New York.
• Possession of a valid DEA license.
• Demonstrated experience in internal medicine or a related specialty is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills essential for patient interaction and teamwork.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, taking initiative and ownership of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting.
• A working knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement care plans based on best practices.
• Previous involvement in quality improvement initiatives within a healthcare setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 220,000 to USD 280,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
