We are currently seeking a qualified candidate that will work the 2nd shift (2pm -12am) will work with other machinists to ensure quality products are producing on time.  The candidate must be experienced in CNC Mill Machining, be able to work with others, and solve problems. As a team member, you will work with support groups such as CNC programming and Quality to ensure our goals are met.  Some G-Code programming knowledge is a must; you must know how to edit and make tool length offsets, Work Coordinate offsets, and work with general machinist tools including measuring tools like Calipers, micrometers, height gages, and dial indicators.

 Responsibilities include:

•         Set up and run various HAAS multi axis CNC machines.

•         Troubleshoot minor issues within the machine shop

•         Machine parts per the engineering requirements

•         Assist in continuous improvement activities within the machine shop

•         Ensure a safe work environment.

•         Work with other team members and support groups and maintain a healthy morale.

•         Set up and run various HAA

Desired qualifications:

•         10 years or more CNC Milling experience.

•         Understanding and application of machining best practices.

•         3 and 4 axis machining experience.

•         5 axis machine experience a plus.

•         Understanding of basic shop floor control tools and practices.

•         Problem-solving skills.

•         Leadership experience or “moldable” attitude.

•         Willing to be accountable & responsible.

•         Organized and able to maintain organization. 5S experience a plus.
