American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 12-week day shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and the ability to float across ICU, ED, and all floor units.
Details- Hospital-based Respiratory Care department with 134 beds
- Patient ratios vary based on unit and acuity
- Treats all patient types across the facility
- Uses PB 980, V60, Airvo, and Aerogen equipment
- Epic EMR system
- 3x12 day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekend requirement of 24 of 36 scheduled hours
- Float requirement includes ICU, ED, and all floor units
- No on-call requirements
- RRT or CRT certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- State license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy
- Must be able to work independently across ICU, ED, and floor units
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Epic EMR experience preferred, with training or competency test-out available
- Provide respiratory therapy services across ICU, ED, and general floor units
- Work independently while collaborating with a variety of personalities and team members
- Grey scrubs required; ripped or torn jeans, tank tops, and flip flops are not permitted
- Must complete Epic training or test out if eligible, along with required hospital education modules prior to first day
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and may be eligible at a reduced bill rate
