Director of Information Technology

We are seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, systems, and technology operations. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of the technology environment and is responsible for ensuring our systems remain secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company’s IT strategy, roadmap, policies, and technology standards.
  • Lead IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, systems administration, business applications, and end-user support.
  • Lead CMMC readiness and compliance activities for applicable certification levels and federal contracting requirements.
  • Oversee cybersecurity controls and safeguards for FCI, CUI, company, and client information.
  • Manage and drive security policies, risk assessments, compliance documentation, remediation efforts, and audit readiness.
  • Ensure system reliability, security, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Lead technology implementations, infrastructure improvements, system integrations, and automation initiatives and innovations.
  • Manage IT staff, consultants, vendors, contracts, licensing, and technology partnerships.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, technology investments, and lifecycle planning.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify technology needs, manage risk, and support organizational growth.
  • Demonstrate respect in all interactions with customers, vendors, leadership, and employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field and relevant progressive IT experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, and technology leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, networking, cloud technologies, identity and access management, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, or cybersecurity requirements applicable to federal contractors.
  • Strong leadership, project management, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaborations skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
  • Ability to move, bend, kneel, and transport items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within the Defense Industrial Base or federal contracting environment.
  • Experience supporting CMMC assessments, readiness initiatives, or cybersecurity compliance programs.
  • Relevant IT, cybersecurity, or management certifications.
  • Experience managing IT teams, vendors, budgets, and technology projects.
Salary Range: $100K - $140K
