About the Role

The Advetage Solutions Team is looking to add Criticality Safety Engineers to support criticality safety and generation of criticality safety documentation across government projects.

The team member selected will support criticality safety management and oversight activities associated with criticality safety programs. The team member must be responsible for performing the following technical tasks with the level of quality, timeliness, and cost, to meet required project and client expectations:

• Criticality Safety-related assessments
• Training and mentoring of criticality safety staff and operations staff on criticality safety policies and programs
• Nuclear criticality safety-related DOE orders and regulations compliance support, including Hanford Site implementation of related guidance.
• Conduct Criticality Safety Evaluation Reports (CSERs) development compliant with American National Standards Institute (ANSI/ANS) 8.1 and Hanford Site Criticality Safety Program
• Assist in qualification, verification, and validation of Criticality Safety Software in compliance with Nuclear Quality Assurance Certification Program (NQA-1), ANSI/ANS-8.24, and other applicable regulations and policies
• Respond to Criticality Safety Nonconformances per HNF-7098
• Aid in improvement and development of programmatic processes for Criticality Safety
• Meet the requirements of and achieve/maintain qualification as a Hanford Site CSE3.1 Acceptance

Salary Range:

• 5-8 years experience $105k-$135k
• 8-15 years experience $130k-$170k
• 15+ years experience $155k-$190k+

Requirements

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Art degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or a related technical field. This position does not accept an education equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years in the industry, of which at least three (3) years must directly relate to the required area of expertise; or a combination of experience and education as a Criticality Safety Engineer under 10 CFR 830.
• Any years’ experience at a nuclear facility within the DOE Complex or a commercial nuclear facility.
