Requirements
- High School Education/GED or equivalent (preferred)
- Associate's/Technical Degree in business or equivalent combination of education/related experience (preferred)
- Two years of relevant experience (preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Current nursing license per the state of assignment
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee patient admissions and maintain department cash receipts.
- Track referrals to specialists and physical therapy.
- Review incoming communication and prioritize tasks.
- Obtain and compile statistical reports for management.
- Manage patient account inquiries and assist with necessary paperwork.
- Verify third-party payer accounts and explain financial requirements to patients.
Compliance / Notes
- All associates must receive required vaccinations as a condition of employment.
- Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
- Compliance with background checks and drug screens may be required.
