Requires periodic LOCAL travel to university partner labs
(No interest in remote workers)
Overview:
- Design, verify, integrate, and test FPGA/ASIC solutions
- Develop FPGA / ASIC architectures, coding, running simulations, synthesis, creating test benches, and preparing documentation to be reviewed by certification authorities.
- Produce detailed design documentation, verification plans and reports.
- Design and development of all custom digital devices (ASIC or FPGA)
- ASIC or FPGA Verification to FAA Standards such as DO-254.
- Develop RTL using VHDL, Verilog, or SV and debug design using simulation tools.
- Timing closure on FPGA designs and generating test benches
- Evaluate process flow e.g., synthesis, place, route, timing constraints, power use
- BSEE or BSCE with minimum 5 years of electrronic design
- Validation of HW in lab using bench tools (scopes, logic analyzers) and debuggers
- Experience in scripting with languages such as TCL, Python, Shell scripts.
- Experience with Actel & Xilinx family tool flows to implement complete designs.
