Advanced Technology Consulting (ATC) is seeking a Principal Consultant to help drive our next stage of growth. This is a consultative business development role focused on creating new client relationships, expanding ATC's presence in the regional IT community, and connecting organizations with solutions that solve real business challenges.

This is not a transactional sales role. We are looking for someone who combines the mindset of a hunter with the credibility of a trusted advisor.Someone who enjoys networking, uncovering business challenges, and creating long-term partnerships.

What You'll Do Generate New Business

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and new logo acquisition.
• Build a consistent pipeline through networking, referrals, industry associations, community involvement, and proactive outreach.
• Follow up on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) while independently creating new opportunities.
• Engage executive decision-makers to uncover business challenges and initiate consulting conversations.
• Collaborate with ATC's consulting teams to transition opportunities into successful client engagements.

Build Executive Relationships

• Develop trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and business leaders.
• Position ATC as a strategic advisor rather than a transactional vendor.
• Maintain an active presence within local business and technology communities.
• Represent ATC at networking events, conferences, peer groups, and industry organizations.

Grow the ATC Brand

• Create thought leadership through LinkedIn, blogs, webinars, and educational content.
• Participate in speaking engagements and panel discussions.
• Provide market feedback that helps shape ATC's service offerings and go-to-market strategy.
• Help strengthen ATC's reputation as a trusted IT consulting partner.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven success in business development, IT consulting, technology sales, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to create and close new business opportunities.
• Experience building executive-level client relationships.
• Experience selling complex technology or professional services solutions is preferred.
• Established network within the regional business or technology community is a plus.
• Experience using CRM systems to manage pipeline and opportunities.

• Consistently generate qualified consulting opportunities.
• Increase ATC's visibility through networking and thought leadership.
• Collaborate across sales, marketing, and consulting teams to drive sustainable growth.
• Help expand ATC's footprint by bringing new logo organizations into our consulting practice.
