Advanced Global Construction

Our team is looking for an experienced Commercial / Federal Construction superintendent to manage our projects. You'll supervise our staff and ensure projects are delivered on time.
This role requires excellent communication skills, as you'll collaborate with various people, such as construction workers, architects and engineers. In order to succeed, it's important to know how to implement quality, health, and safety standards onsite.

Skills:

·         Excellent communication abilities, including writing, speaking and active listening

·         Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices

·         Good planning skills, including design execution, resource allocation and contingencies

·         Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues

·         In-depth understanding of local, state and federal construction regulations

·         Great problem-solving and decision-making skills

·         Effective leadership abilities, like motivation, goal-setting and conflict management

·         Organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization and multitasking

Requirements:

·         Previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role

·         Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites

·         In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes

·         Proficiency in MS Office

·         Organizational and time-management skills

·         Ability to lead and inspire

·         Minimum 7 years construction site experience

·         A minimum of 2-4 years supervisory experience and/or training preferred.

·         A valid Driver License with a clean motor vehicle record is required.

·         Obtain OSHA certifications as required.

·         Industry related professional certification and licenses strongly desired.

·         U.S. Citizenship

·         Able to pass a background check

·         Reliable transportation required
