Prosthodontics & Implants Northwest in Puyallup, WA, is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Dental Assistant to support our specialized prosthodontic and implant care team. This position offers flexible part-time to full-time hours starting in January, with the opportunity to grow in a focused, patient-centered environment.

Job Description

Assist the prosthodontist during dental and implant procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure sterilization protocols are strictly followed
Take and process dental radiographs as needed
Maintain and update accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA
Manage clinical inventory and equipment maintenance
Provide patients with chairside support and postoperative care instructions
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care

Salary Range

Part-time $30 - $40 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Early January, with an initial 5 to 6 months part-time commitment and potential for full-time thereafter.
Monday (Half Day): 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Thursday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday to Sunday: Closed

Requirements
  • Implant Dentistry
  • Infection Control License
  • Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of Washington
Minimum of 5 years of dental assisting experience, preferably in prosthodontics or implant dentistry
Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enhance patient comfort and team collaboration
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferences

Experience specifically in prosthodontics and implant procedures
Additional certifications or training related to implant dentistry
