WE'RE HIRING — Veterinary Technician / Assistant Carrollton, Texas We are looking for a reliable, motivated team member to join our small, specialty-focused veterinary practice. Our clinic focuses on pain management, acupuncture, rehabilitation, regenerative medicine, and orthopedic surgery. This is a hands-on, varied position ideal for someone who loves animals, enjoys working with people, and wants to learn new skills About Advanced Care Veterinary Services : Advanced Care Veterinary Services is a state of the art Pain Management & Rehabilitation Clinic where the veterinary technician is an integral part of the team. We are a specialty clinic and specialize in the following: Pain Management consultations; Orthotics/Prosthetics; Physical Therapy; Underwater treadmill training & land treadmill training; Versatron Shockwave Therapy; Low level laser treatments; Ultrasound; Electrical Stimulation; Pulsed-electromagnetic therapy; Stem Cell therapy; Acupuncture; Electro-Acupuncture; Intramuscular dry needling/ Myofascial trigger point therapy. We also offer treatments for our equine athletes, which include: Versatron Shockwave therapy, acupuncture, electro-acupuncture and intramuscular dry needling. Job Description . Position responsibilities include: • Assisting the veterinarian with patient care • Assisting with therapeutic and rehabilitation modalities • General support of daily clinic operations • Reception and client communication • Administrative duties Pay: Approximately $18/hour, depending on experience, skills, and knowledge. We are a small practice with a close-knit, family-oriented environment and are looking for someone who wants to become a valued part of our team. Experience and Education Requirements: Excellent professional communication skills • Dependable and reliable — this is very important to us • Self-motivated and able to take initiative • Compassionate with both animals and their owners • Willingness to learn and take on multiple roles • Veterinary experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person • Bonus points for clinical competency in: radiology, anesthesiology, other lab techniques, pharmacology. • Must be able to walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull, bend, climb stairs and ladders and carry up to 50lbs.
