Job description

Dynamic apparel company seeking commercially driven Associate Designer to support Men’s & Boys’ Active, creating trend-right, functional product for key retail partners.


This role involves working closely with design leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver high-volume assortments balancing style, performance, and cost.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Research market trends and competitive landscape, translating insights into commercially viable product for the target customer
  • Design and develop styles that balance trend, function, and cost, aligned with brand and retail partner requirements
  • Partner with senior design leadership to build cohesive assortments across key programs and classifications
  • Execute and maintain tech packs, flat sketches, and line sheets with a high level of accuracy and speed
  • Manage product details within PLM systems, ensuring all updates are reflected throughout development
  • Collaborate closely with product development and production teams to support on-time execution and cost optimization
  • Support seasonal milestones including concept kickoffs, line reviews, and key presentations
  • Uphold design intent while adapting to business needs, cost changes, and timeline shifts
  • Manage multiple programs simultaneously, adhering to seasonal calendars and key deadlines


Qualifications:


  • 2–3 years of experience in apparel design, preferably in Men’s and/or Boys’ Active or related categories
  • Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and cost implications in a high-volume retail environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Mac platforms
  • Experience working within a cloud-based PLM system
  • Familiarity with Browzwear or other 3D design tools is a plus
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to evolving business
