Role Description This full-time Account Manager Additive Manufacturing role is a hybrid position based in Irvine, CA, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week. The Account Manager will oversee a portfolio of customers, managing relationships and serving as the primary point of contact for additive manufacturing projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying customer needs, preparing quotes and proposals, coordinating project timelines, and collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure successful delivery. The role involves driving new business opportunities, conducting regular account reviews, tracking performance metrics, and resolving issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The Account Manager will also stay current on additive manufacturing trends and capabilities to provide informed guidance and support to clients.

Qualifications

  • Experience in account management, customer success, or sales, ideally within manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or related technical industries.
  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing or advanced manufacturing processes, materials, and applications, or strong willingness to learn technical concepts quickly.
  • Strong skills in relationship building, communication, and negotiation, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, project management tools, and standard office software to manage accounts, track activities, and report on performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and comfort working with data, pricing models, and basic financial concepts.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement in Irvine, CA, and occasionally visit customer sites or manufacturing facilities as needed.
