You will have the unique opportunity to facilitate healing and restoration in the lives of our clients through tailored therapeutic interventions.

About the Organization

At Addiction Counseling, LLC, we are committed to delivering exceptional mental health care that focuses specifically on trauma recovery. Our outpatient facility serves as a haven for individuals struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. We take pride in fostering a supportive atmosphere where clients feel safe to explore their challenges and embark on their healing journeys.

Work Environment

This role is set in a fully remote work environment, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home while being part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering trauma-informed care. Our flexible work schedule ensures that you can balance your professional responsibilities with your personal life, enhancing both your productivity and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and identify effective treatment strategies.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and build resilience, ensuring each plan is aligned with the client's goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to patients' unique needs.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a space for patients to process their trauma experiences, learn coping mechanisms, and promote their own healing.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower their recovery.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation to meet legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all patient records are up to date and compliant.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and professional development activities focusing on the latest in trauma-informed care practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will predominantly work with clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, ranging from childhood abuse to recent life-threatening events. Our client base is characterized by individuals seeking to address the profound impacts of trauma on their lives, and as their therapist, you will guide them through the recovery process utilizing compassionate and evidence-based methodologies.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT, ensuring you meet all professional standards to provide care.
  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, showcasing your ability to effectively support clients in their mental health journeys.
  • In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a genuine connection with clients through a non-judgmental and supportive approach.
  • A calm and composed demeanor under high-stress situations, ensuring clients always feel safe and supported.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, optimizing the efficiency of client documentation and tracking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive care for all clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
  • A strong background in working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competence in therapy.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000, reflecting your valuable contributions to our team and to client care. In addition to competitive compensation, Addiction Counseling, LLC offers a comprehensive benefits package featuring:

  • Healthcare benefits to support your physical well-being.
