Addiction Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's trauma history and tailor appropriate treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience among clients.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group settings.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that allow clients to process their traumatic experiences, teach coping mechanisms, and promote emotional healing.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care for our clients.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and offering emotional support.
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and resources available for additional support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of client information.
• Participate in weekly case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment approaches and share insights.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance personal effectiveness and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals dealing with trauma-related disorders, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and PTSD. You will play a crucial role in not only helping them understand their individual experiences but also in guiding them through evidence-based recovery strategies.

Qualifications

• A completed Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in trauma-informed care.

Preferred Experience

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
• Experience in utilizing trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach towards clients.
• Ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
