Responsibilities
Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student learning needs
Create a structured, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
Adapt lessons and instructional strategies for diverse learners
Support students’ social-emotional growth and independence
Collaborate with families, therapists, and staff members
Track student progress and communicate effectively with families and administration
Utilize positive behavior supports and relationship-centered practices
Qualifications
Must be certified in Special Education or actively working toward Texas teacher certification
Candidates currently enrolled in an alternative certification program are encouraged to apply
Passion for working with neurodiverse learners and students with unique learning needs
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities
Assist with classroom instruction and student support
Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional learning
Help maintain classroom structure and daily routines
Prepare materials and assist with activities
Foster positive relationships with students and staff
Qualifications
Experience working with children preferred
Positive attitude, patience, flexibility, and reliability
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
