Job description

Custodian - Third Shift

Acuity is seeking a Custodian – Third Shift to maintain a high level of custodial detail for Acuity's executive space, including private and open offices, restrooms, a kitchenette, conference rooms, and common areas; dispose of confidential paperwork; and provide third-shift custodial coverage outside of the executive area as needed. Internal deadline to apply: February 20th, 2026

Essential Functions

  • Details executive offices, administrative assistant offices and common spaces.
  • Vacuums carpet.
  • Dusts millwork, including overhead up to 20'.
  • Cleans 7 restrooms.
  • Cleans kitchenette.
  • Practices secure paper disposal.
  • Maintains ceramic tile and vinyl composition floor.
  • Near perfect attendance and schedule flexibility to meet the ongoing demands of a dynamic environment/facility.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High School diploma.

Experience

Custodial maintenance required.

Other Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Valid driver license.
  • Ability to work under pressure, set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with management, maintenance personnel, and service contractors.
