Key Responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to grow market share in North America.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within OEMs, EPCs, distributors, and end users.
  • Lead the sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closure.
  • Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline through CRM management and forecasting accuracy.

Account & Channel Management

  • Manage and support existing channel partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance expectations.
  • Build strong customer relationships with decision-makers at all levels (engineering, procurement, and operations).
  • Coordinate technical presentations, product demos, and site visits to promote company solutions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify business threats and opportunities.

Technical & Commercial Support

  • Collaborate with engineering and product management to provide tailored actuation solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, review bid specifications, and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and customer training programs to increase visibility and technical credibility.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred) or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in electrical actuators, valve automation, or industrial controls.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive, technical B2B environment.
  • Experience working with distributors, OEMs, EPCs, and end users.
  • Familiarity with key communication protocols (Modbus, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus) and actuation principles.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated “hunter” profile with the ability to work independently and travel frequently (~50%).
  • Solid understanding of automation systems, valves, and process applications.
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Monday, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based commission.
  • Company vehicle or car allowance.
  • Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k).
