Position Overview

Accurate Connection Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) for a full-time remote position. This role is essential in delivering high-quality mental health services to individuals dealing with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders. Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day activities will encompass a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall client care process:

• Document and maintain timely administrative and clinical records related to client care in accordance with RAMS policies and clinical standards.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as required, ensuring immediate assistance to clients in distress.
• Consult with Health Service Agency (HSA) staff on client care initiatives and participate in case conferences to develop holistic strategies for client treatment.
• Engage in both individual and group supervision, enhancing your skills and professional development through collaborative practices with colleagues.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to determine clients' suitability for work assignments and develop tailored counseling and referral strategies.
• Provide culturally sensitive counseling to individuals and groups, offering insights into mental health and substance use disorders while integrating case management services.
• Work closely with clients, case managers, and other service providers to coordinate continued care and support for complex cases.
• Perform psychological assessments, completing evaluation reports that include vocational recommendations catered to the clients' comprehension levels, helping them navigate their career paths.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will support a diverse client population, including individuals facing a range of mental health disorders such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Anxiety Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and various trauma-related conditions. Your work will have a significant impact on clients navigating co-occurring disorders, helping them find pathways to recovery and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A valid Social Work License per state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is mandatory.
• A proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle interruptions without compromising service quality.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, evidenced by a strong ability to engage with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A clean record regarding medical malpractice claims confirmed by a third-party review.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have experience with various psychotherapy modalities and a deep understanding of an array of mental health diagnoses, including but not limited to MDD, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, and grief. Experience in community mental health settings is advantageous.
