We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high quality care to assigned patients.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the health of patients, which can include taking vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, and respiration
- Provide basic patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications and injections to consumers
- Provide wound care and apply dressings to wounds
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Collect samples for laboratory testing, such as blood and urine samples
- Educate and update patients on medical treatments
- Record patients’ medical histories and symptoms
- Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and how to manage them
- Communicate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to health information management guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
