• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns and formulate clinical diagnoses, ensuring accurate and empathetic evaluations.
• Create individualized treatment plans that incorporate clients' goals and needs, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to each client.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy, using various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Offer crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate support strategies.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including thorough progress notes and assessment results, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure integrated care that meets clients’ needs.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options, utilizing community resources to enhance their support networks.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, trainings, and staying updated with the latest practices and research in mental health.

At Accent Care Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting clients through their unique journeys, focusing on cultural competence and individual differences in treatment approaches.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R) in New York State.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a commitment to evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering rapport and trust with clients.
• A collaborative spirit with a willingness to contribute to an interdisciplinary team.
• High standards of ethical practice and professional conduct.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, particularly with diverse client populations and a variety of mental health issues.
