Job Description

Senior Teamcenter Application DeveloperFull TimeRemote or Hybrid

The Senior Teamcenter Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions within an advanced Software and Enterprise Solutions team supporting U.S. Department of Defense programs.

This role focuses on Teamcenter customization, configuration, and system integration, leveraging Siemens development frameworks including BMIDE, ITK, SOA services, and Active Workspace extensions. The developer will support enterprise PLM implementations by translating business and engineering requirements into scalable Teamcenter solutions that integrate with other enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of hands-on experience developing and customizing Siemens Teamcenter, including data model configuration, workflow automation, and integration with external systems, and has experience working within Agile development environments supporting complex engineering organizations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them intoTeamcentertechnical solutionsand configurations.

Evaluatebusiness/technicalrequirements forTeamcenterenhancements, extensions and integrations,providinglevel of effort estimatesto supportAgilesprint planning and costestimation.

Design, develop, and deployTeamcentercustomizationincluding:BMIDE data model extensionsITK custom handlers and exitsSOA-based servicesWorkflow templates and process automationLifecycle and status managementCustom actions and business rulesReporting and data extraction/cleanup utilitiesDevelop and maintain Teamcenter user interfaces, including Active Workspace extensions and Rich Client customizations.

Support integration projects betweenTeamcenterandexternalenterprise systemssuch as ERP, MES, or supply chain systems, utilizing Teamcenter SOA services, Dispatcher framework, and middleware integrations.

Performcomprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and system testing ensuringTeamcenter configuration and customizations meet functional, performance, and securityrequirements.

Debug and resolve complex application/customizationdefects and issues.

Develop and maintain technical documentation forTeamcentercustomizations.

Provide training and support to end-users on customTeamcenterfunctionalities.

Stay up-to-date with the latestSiemensTeamcenterproduct releases, architecture updates, andindustrybest practices.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Currently holdSiemenscertifications forTeamcenter.

Bachelor’s degree inComputerScience, Software Engineering, or other Engineering discipline.

Minimum4years of experience working withSiemens Teamcenter PLMsoftware, specifically in customization development.

Experience collaborating withtheSiemensTechnical Support&Siemens Government Technologiesorganizations.

Strong programming skillsleveragingJava, JSP, J2EE, XML, JSON, and HTML5.

Experience developing Teamcenter Active Workspace or Rich Client extensions.

Experiencesupporting integration between Teamcenter and external enterprise systems.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong documentation skills.

Ability to work independently andcollaboratively in Agile software development environments.

Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Teamcenter Dispatcher, Batch utilities, and migration tools.

Experience with Teamcenter installation, patching, and upgrades.

Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. OracleandSQL Server) and SQL scripting.

Experience withand certifications inAgilesoftwaredevelopment methodologies.

Experience withFortify or other security scanning tools.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and code managementleveraging GIT(e.g. repo, branches, merging,conflict resolution, build hardening,andant scripting).

Experience with AWS cloud services.

Experience working within Linux-based Teamcenter environments, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux and shell scripting.

ExperiencewithTeamcenterlicensure,installation, patching, and upgrades.

Experienceinvestigating and resolvingTeamcenterperformance related issues.

In-depth understanding of the aerospace and defense industry.

Knowledge of DoD software development policies, cybersecurityrequirements, and RMF compliance framework.

CompTIASecurity+ Certification

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able tolift upto 15 pounds at times.

This position may require the ability to travel up to 10%.

Work Environment

Employees have the flexibility to teleworktofulfill their work responsibilities effectively. Additionally, travel may be required to customer and subcontractor sites as well as other office locations.

Clearance Requirements

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).In order toqualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.

The pay range for this role is:

151,762 - 177,317 USD per year(Remote (United States))
