Job Description

Prepare and assist the dentist during dental procedures in general practice
Manage patient records using Dentrix Ascend software
Take and process dental X-rays as needed
Ensure infection control and sterilization protocols are strictly followed
Provide excellent patient care, explaining procedures and answering questions
Maintain organized and well-stocked operatories
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently

Salary Range

Full-time $28 - $33 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Monday: 8 AM – 5 PM
Tuesday: 7 AM – 4 PM
Wednesday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Thursday: Closed
Friday: 7 AM – 4 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Requirements

• Dentrix
• Eaglesoft
• Open Dental

Valid Dental Assistant certification or license in California
Experience with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental practice management software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow established protocols and demonstrate attention to detail
Reliable, patient-focused, and team-oriented

Preferences

• General Dentistry

Previous experience in a general dentistry setting
Familiarity with digital radiography and dental instruments
Bilingual abilities are a plus
