Job description

Automotive Technician Mechanic (Broward County)

Compensation: Based On Experience.
Employment Type: Full-time

Sunshine Auto Center is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team!

40+ hours / weekly - Monday through Friday
•Must be ASE Certified with at least 3+ years of experience. (If you are not ASE Certified, we may still consider hiring based on experience.)
•Auto Technician must be able to diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning etc. to manufacturer specifications.
•Must be able to work on most foreign and domestic vehicles such as GMC's, Chevrolet's, Ford's, BMW's, & Mercedes.
•Auto Technician will need to explain mechanical diagnosis and required repairs to customers and service advisors in a non-technical manner.
•Must have a valid Florida drivers license to be able to road test vehicles when needed.
•Technician will need to have their own tools to repair vehicles as needed.
•Must follow safety policies and procedures as well as keep work area neat and clean.
•Ensure customers cars are kept clean during and after repairs.
•Must be willing to submit to a background check.
