Role Overview

The Paid Media Specialist is a key part of executing and growing Avara’s paid media strategy across digital channels. This role works closely with internal marketing, creative, and merchandising teams as well as external media agency partners to ensure campaigns are planned, launched, monitored, and optimized effectively.

The Paid Media Specialist will help manage the day-to-day execution of paid media campaigns, coordinate creative assets and campaign needs internally, communicate with agency partners, and monitor performance to ensure campaigns are delivering against business goals.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and excited to work in a fast-paced, growing fashion brand where priorities move quickly and collaboration is key.


Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Execution & Campaign Management

  • Support the day-to-day execution of paid media campaigns across channels including Meta, Google, and other digital platforms as appropriate.
  • Partner with the media agency to coordinate campaign launches, updates, optimizations, and ongoing execution.
  • Ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule, including budgets, targeting, creative, links, tracking, and campaign details.
  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance and communicate opportunities, issues, and recommendations to internal teams and agency partners.
  • Assist with testing and optimization initiatives to improve campaign performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate campaign calendars, media plans, and tracking documents.

Creative & Asset Coordination

  • Serve as a key point of contact between the internal creative team, and agency partners.
  • Coordinate paid media asset needs based on campaign calendars, product launches, promotions, and business priorities.
  • Develop and maintain creative briefs, asset trackers, naming conventions, and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure all required creative assets are received, approved, organized, and delivered to the agency on time.
  • Communicate creative feedback and revisions between internal stakeholders and agency partners.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure paid media creative aligns with current product stories, brand messaging, promotions, and inventory priorities.
  • Proactively identify upcoming asset needs and flag potential gaps before campaign launches.

Agency Collaboration

  • Manage day-to-day communication with external paid media agency partners.
  • Provide agencies with campaign priorities, promotional calendars, product information, creative assets, and other necessary inputs.
  • Participate in regular performance meetings and contribute to campaign discussions and recommendations.
  • Follow up on action items and ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain strong communication and accountability across internal and external teams.
  • Help ensure agency execution remains aligned with Avara’s brand, business goals, and marketing calendar.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Monitor daily and weekly paid media performance across key channels.
  • Pull and maintain reporting on spend, revenue, ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rate, and other relevant KPIs.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly performance reporting and presentations.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and areas of underperformance and communicate actionable insights to the broader marketing team.
  • Partner with agency teams to understand performance drivers and recommended optimizations.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and tracking documents across paid media initiatives.

Cross-Functional Marketing Support

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Creative, Ecommerce, Merchandising, and other teams to support integrated campaign execution.
  • Stay informed on new product launches, promotions, inventory priorities, and seasonal marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure paid media plans are aligned with broader marketing campaigns and business priorities.
  • Support major launches, seasonal campaigns, promotional events, and other key marketing initiatives.
  • Help ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across paid media channels.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in paid media, digital marketing, performance marketing, media planning, or a related field.
  • Experience working with paid social and/or paid search platforms; experience with Meta and Google Ads preferred.
  • Experience working with an external agency or cross-functional marketing team preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability.
  • Comfortable working with data, reporting, and performance metrics.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfort working with large amounts of campaign and performance data.
  • Ability to proactively identify issues, communicate clearly, and drive projects through completion.
  • Fashion, retail, ecommerce, or consumer brand experience is a plus.
