ATI Behavioral Institute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our team. In this remote full-time role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality mental health services focused on individual and familial emotional well-being. As a leader in mental health care, you will work with diverse populations, implementing personalized therapeutic strategies that create lasting positive impacts in your clients' lives.

About the Organization

ATI Behavioral Institute is a forward-thinking Community Mental Health Center located in Kansas City, Kansas, dedicated to improving access to mental health resources for underserved communities. Our mission revolves around fostering personal development and promoting emotional well-being through tailored services. At ATI, we pride ourselves on our team of experienced mental health professionals who are committed to providing outstanding care and support to those in need.

Work Environment

This role offers a remote working environment, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong focus on client care. You will have the autonomy to create a work schedule that supports your work-life balance, with the backing of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. To enhance your practice, you will have access to resources, training, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments to formulate and deliver individualized therapy plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress notes while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams, including psychiatrists and community resources, to deliver comprehensive and integrated care to clients.
  • Participating in continuous professional development, attending workshops, and staying abreast of the latest research trends in mental health to ensure effective treatment practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults and children experiencing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, substance use disorders, and relationship conflicts. You will be instrumental in supporting individuals who have had limited access to mental health resources, providing them with compassionate care that fosters recovery and resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, with an active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Kansas.
  • A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in clinical settings.
  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in counseling practice.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated capability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related tools to efficiently manage client documentation and billing.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment is highly preferred.
  • Experience implementing evidence-based practices and a strong background in therapeutic modalities.
Compensation and Benefits

ATI Behavioral Institute offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to a rewarding compensation structure, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Access to health, dental, and vision insurance to meet your personal and family needs.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage to protect your professional practice.
  • Ongoing referrals to clients, easing caseload management, and enhancing your clinical practice.
  • Administrative assistance with billing and documentation, allowing you to focus more on client care.
Career Growth Opportunities

At ATI Behavioral Institute, we are committed to your professional development. We promote a culture of learning, offering access to additional training, workshops, and certifications that align with your career goals. You will have numerous opportunities for advancement within our organization as we encourage internal mobility and specialization based on your interests.

We believe in fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment where collaboration and respect are paramount.
