Position Summary 

ATB Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive to drive new business growth across the St. Louis market.  

This is a true hunter role focused exclusively on acquiring new client relationships and generating net-new business. The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building executive-level relationships, navigating complex sales cycles, and closing new managed services business. Existing account management responsibilities are handled separately, allowing this role to remain focused on new logo acquisition and company growth.  

The ideal candidate is a consultative sales professional with experience selling technology services, building relationships with business owners and executives, and uncovering business challenges that technology can solve. Success in this role comes from earning trust, creating long-term partnerships, and positioning ATB as a strategic technology partner rather than a transactional vendor.

This individual will own the entire sales process, from initial outreach and discovery through proposal development, contract execution, and successful post sale transition to our service delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities 

• Own the full new-business sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, closing, and successful transition to ATB's service delivery teams.  
• Develop and execute outbound business development strategies through networking, referrals, community engagement, strategic outreach, and lead follow-up.  
• Conduct consultative discovery conversations with business owners, executives, and key stakeholders to understand operational goals, technology challenges, and business risks.  
• Align ATB's managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, consulting, AI, and related solutions to prospective client needs.  
• Collaborate with technical leadership and subject matter experts to scope solutions and ensure client expectations are accurately set throughout the sales process.  
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while providing accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting within CRM systems.  
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders throughout the buying journey.  
• Represent ATB at networking events, community functions, and industry gatherings to strengthen market visibility and generate new opportunities.  
• Stay informed on industry trends, technology developments, and regional business needs to effectively position ATB's services.  
• Contribute to ATB's continued growth by consistently generating and closing new business opportunities.  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional sales experience with a proven track record of generating new business and closing complex deals.  
• Experience selling managed services, IT services, staffing services, software development services, professional services, or other recurring service-based solutions strongly preferred.  
• Familiarity with managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, or related business technology solutions strongly preferred.  
• Demonstrated success independently managing a consultative sales process from prospecting through close. The ideal candidate brings an established sales methodology, understands how to build and manage a pipeline, and requires minimal coaching on core sales fundamentals.  
• Experience building relationships with business owners, C-suite leaders, and other executive decision-makers.  
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop trust, establish credibility quickly, and create long-term client partnerships.  
• Understanding of sales methodologies such as Sandler, MEDDIC, or similar structured sales approaches is required.  
• Exposure to AI-related services or emerging technology solutions is a plus.  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, organization, accountability, and follow-through.  
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional sales experience required.

Actual earnings may vary based on individual performance, team results, and company metrics. Please note: commissions for this role are uncapped, offering high performers the opportunity to exceed the stated OTE.
