Job Description

ASAP Asset Services is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and experience to oversee an installation for residential heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of independently troubleshooting HVAC issues in homeowners' residences.

Responsibilities

-Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and thermostats

-Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups

-Troubleshoot system performance issues and identify root causes

-Repair or replace defective HVAC components and equipment

-Conduct system inspections and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades

-Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company policies

-Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding system conditions and recommendations

-Maintain accurate service records and work orders

Qualifications

-Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience required

-EPA Certification required (or ability to obtain immediately upon hire)

-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

-Must pass background check and drug screening

-Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

-Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments

-Ability to lift and carry HVAC equipment and materials

-Excellent customer service and communication skills
