All duties and responsibilities are essential job functions and requirements and are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent(s) will possess the skills, aptitudes, and abilities to perform each duty proficiently. Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health or safety of themselves or others. - Operate EDM machines within the department.
- Inspect parts and document results of inspections on in process inspection plans.
- Continuously monitor equipment and tooling. In the event of a breakdown or other event that would disrupt the process, notify department manager to resolve the problem.
- Follow the instructions on the setup sheet, drawings and/or programs.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Adhere to company safety requirements.
- Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Seabrook Quality System procedures.
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating CNC EDM machines, including FANUC Robocut Wire EDM, preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong mechanical and trouble shooting ability.
- Ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
- Light to moderate physical exertion required
- Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 50
- Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
