Inside Sales Representative - Contractor Desk
Location: St. Louis, Missouri

Position Overview: The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving company growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with contractors in the outdoor furnishings and fixtures industry. This position blends strategic account management with proactive business development efforts across the United States. The ideal candidate will develop expertise in public sector procurement processes, including the management of RFPs, and effectively utilize platforms such as Procore, BuildingConnected, and other project management tools. This is a dynamic, long-term opportunity for a motivated professional seeking to grow within an innovative and forward-thinking organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing national partners.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within a designated vertical.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems.
  • Ensure prompt and effective customer service and response times.
  • Manage RFP's, purchasing platforms and opportunities.
  • Nurture relationships with high growth potential accounts.
  • Build relationships to help grow verticals markets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Success:
  • Account Retention and Growth: Retain and grow existing accounts.
  • Sales Pipeline: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Behavior Targets: Meet and exceed monthly behavior targets, including strategic meetings, RFP identification and execution and lead qualifications.

Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of telephone-based inside sales experience
  • Demonstrated success in closing deals and hitting sales targets.
  • Experience managing accounts with multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience qualifying opportunities and effectively managing pipeline.
  • Strong relationship building and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
